Content of the Programme
Students who apply for the one of the English taught tracks of the Master's in Sociology, Master's in Conflict Resolution and Governance or Master's in Medical Anthropology and Sociology but have prior training in disciplines other than social sciences and lack sufficient knowledge of social sciences and/or research methodology may gain entry to the Master's programme by completing a special preparatory programme.
Preparatory Programme I: Students who lack sufficient knowledge in social sciences theory and research methodology will be required to complete a preparatory programme of 30 EC before gaining entry to the master's programme. This preparatory programme will take place in the semester before the start of the master's programme.
Preparatory Programme II: Students who have a deficiency in social science research methodology will be required to complete the Intensive Introduction Course to Research Methodology - qualitative focus (August) (10 EC) before gaining entry to the Master's programme. This intensive course will be organised in August 2011.
