The Software Engineering curriculum

The Master's Programme in Software Engineering is a one-year academic programme. The curriculum consists of a mandatory programme of 60 EC.

Full-time Programme

Semester 1      block 1:     Software Architecture (6 EC)     Software Testing (6 EC)     block 2:     Requirements Engineering (6 EC)     Software Evolution (6 EC)     block 1, 2, 3 and sem 2 block 1:     Preparation Masterproject Software Engineering (6 EC)     block 3 and first 4 weeks of Semester 2 block 1     Software Construction (6 EC) Semester 2     last 4 weeks of block 1 and first 4 weeks of 2:     Software Process (6 EC)     block 2+3:     Masterproject Software Engineering (18 EC)

In the part time programme just one course is taken per block. You will spent in total around 20 hours a week, of which 1 or 2 days at university.
