'HBO' Bachelors need to complete a 60 ECTS 'Premaster programme STS' prior to the 60 ECTS Master's in Master's in Science and Technology Studies. For them, the programme consists of the 30 ECTS Minor Science and Technology Studies plus the Sociologische methoden-premaster (10 EC) and Kwantitatieve data-analyse 1 (5 EC) (these course are taught in Dutch and are organised by the Department of Sociology; for international students, an equivalent methods programme taught in English will be devised) and two electives (with permission of the Examination Committee).
The 'premaster STS' can also be a requirement for admission to the Master's in Master's in Science and Technology Studiesfor foreign applicants with qualifications comparable to two years of academic training in the Netherlands.
